What we offer at ABC Audlem
Pre-school
All children’s development is underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage which is the framework that your child will be assessed under in their first year at school. At ABC, we prepare your children for school by carefully weaving the framework into your child’s play each and every day.
ABC offers 9 month, 2,3 and 4year old government funding. We also accept childcare vouchers and are registered for the government tax free childcare scheme. To find out more please visit Childcarechoices.gov.uk
We offer flexible sessions, ranging from full day care to Preschool hours of 9am-12pm and 12pm-3pm. Our Preschools are open to all children in the local area, regardless of the Primary School they intend to move on to.
Our friendly team provide exceptional opportunities for your child to play, learn and develop. Your children are our passion. We have unique educational programmes designed and developed by our qualified teachers, providing key opportunities for your child to develop cognitively, socially, emotionally and physically. We understand that all children are unique and need to be treated as such. This whole child approach ensures that all children’s needs are met.
We offer real life experiences such as trips to the local parks, baking and nature walks. We can often be found within our community visiting our local care homes which the residents and children thoroughly enjoy! Joining in the baby groups in town and walking along the canal spotting boats.
We love the great outdoors and being part of nature. The children enjoy our expansive outdoors area. This area is used to the full. We grow plants and vegetables, build bug hotels, create woodland arts and crafts and enjoy the world around us.
Keeping fit is key to the development of a healthy body and a healthy mind. We enjoy yoga sessions, exercise sessions and sports days, ensuring healthy snacks and drinks are always available.
There is a strong emphasis on play and imagination, balanced with learning opportunities in our homely and welcoming environment. Nursery is a fundamental time, we will ensure your child’s time with us is filled with excitement, discovery and wonderment. We incorporate many different creative areas for the children to feel happy, safe and inspired to learn.
0-2 Year Old Room
The 0-2 room (ABC tiny toes) offers high-quality childcare in a beautiful setting. We pride ourselves on offering the building blocks for your child’s future. One visit to our lovely setting will set your mind at ease, and leave you with no doubt, we really do offer Amazing Beginnings for Children.
Babies are looked after by a dedicated and specially trained team of individuals. They will each care directly for no more than three children at any one time. Allowing the care your young child needs. We understand that consistency is key. This is why we work closely with parents/carers, with regular parent interaction and through our parent app (Parentzone) we ensure we deliver the best care as your child grows.
In addition, your baby’s development is focused on three prime areas. These are:
- Physical development
- Communication and language
- Personal, social and emotional development
Not only do we focus on these key areas, but we link development through your child’s day. We achieve this by talking and role-modelling with them during their play.
We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, serene, secure, home away from home environment that will leave your child feeling comfortable, and you confident in the knowledge that your little ones will have an amazing day.
Our 0-2 room is airy, spacious and welcoming, offering the children in our care the security and comfort they need to thrive. In addition our redesigned outdoor area offers ample space for children to explore, play and run free in full safety.
It is of vital importance to our team, that when a family makes the decision to leave their child at our nursery they know their child feels safe, secure, stimulated and above all happy.
It is our mission at ABC to create an environment that mirrors the needs of families and their children and to truly take care of your child in a way that you would at home.
